“Though you may not always get it right in the moment, your ongoing presence and commitment to showing up in the lives of your spouse and kids instills in them the fullness of your love.
“Truly, we have to peel back the facade of our traditions and see what’s underneath, just as the little people are doing. Our season of Advent should be a lifelong search, not a monthlong observance.
We need to also remember the hope that is set before us, and take hold of it with firm, strong hands.
Though there’s no perfect replacement for canceled parties, concerts, and family gatherings, you can try new ways to celebrate the season that you probably didn’t have time for in Christmases past!
