Tyndale Partners with Caring Network to Save Unborn Lives
Tyndale Partners with Caring Network to Save Unborn Lives

Each year in the United States, more than half a million young lives are snuffed out by abortion. In 2015 alone, more than 638,000 abortions were performed. Of those, 5,026 were performed in the greater DuPage County area of Illinois.
Though still way too high, abortion rates nationwide have been on the decline in recent years—and the work of crisis pregnancy centers like Caring Network is part of the reason why. Caring Network has been stepping up to this crisis on a local level since 1981. The journey began with a group of individuals who had a desire to empower women experiencing unplanned pregnancies to choose life. They believed that through providing emotional, spiritual, and practical support, they could positively impact women’s lives and save the lives of their children.
Caring Network welcomes women with unconditional love. When a woman walks through the door of a care center or calls the crisis hotline, a highly skilled and compassionate group of professionals responds, offering counseling and resources that holistically address her needs as she considers life or death for her baby. Studies have shown that if a woman visits a Caring Network center before an abortion clinic, 75 percent of them will choose life.

Tyndale House Foundation has joined in the fight for women and children by supporting the work of Caring Network since the early 2000s. Thanks to this partnership—and the generous work of other supporters—Caring Network has more than doubled the number of women reached and served in the past several years. In 1981, Caring Network began as a hotline answered in a garage; today, they minister directly to women in six centers throughout the greater DuPage area.
The work of Caring Network has contributed to a 20-percent drop in abortions in DuPage County over the last three years! Only 8 percent of women who visit Planned Parenthood choose life, while 75 percent of women who come to Caring Network choose life. It is our desire at Tyndale House Foundation to see women choose life and to be restored and healed through a relationship with Jesus Christ. The work of Caring Network helps make that a reality.
