From the beginning to the end of the Bible, we read a story of a people who never stop messing up and breaking God’s law, and a God who never fails or abandons them or ever stops being their Father. Even when we had forfeited any right to be called his children, he made a way for us to be adopted into his family through Jesus’s sacrificial death on the cross. He is faithful to offer us forgiveness again and again, when we could never clean up our mess ourselves. 

Use these verses to rest in the sweet comfort of the unfailing, never-ending, always faithful love God has for you.

Exodus 34:6-7 

“The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out, ‘Yahweh! The LORD! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.’”
