This is a great Bible, especially if you are just starting off studying the Bible.

Just got my NLT Study Bible today! The New Living Translation itself brings out clearness and a spark to God's already living and active Word, the NLT Study Bible takes you even further in God's Word to give you a more studious application of what God has done, is doing, and will do.

The NLT Study Bible is exceptional. The size of the fonts is large enough for someone who wears spectacles, even the footnotes, in other Bibles I have had to use a magnifying glass which is distracting. Something as simple as the size of the font makes a great deal of difference to me and other spectacle wearers. This size of print makes reading easy without being large print. All the other additions, maps, charts, illustrations, profiles etc., etc., it's all in the Bible. I am going to follow your Bible reading plan. It (NLT Study Bible) has everything I wanted and more. So one word to describe this Bible: Brilliant. What you say about it is true (The Truth Made CLEAR). God bless you all.

Absolutely love this study bible, not only for the translation but for the excellent commentary. I have many study bibles over the years, including the spirit filled life and nib but this is totally refreshing and intelligent at the same time.

I can't say enough good things about this Bible! The study notes are relevant and interesting and the New Living Translation is so clear and easy to read. This is the first time I've been able to sit down and read huge chunks of the word and grasp it's meaning and context. Love this!

I was really jazzed when this Bible was released. I truly believe it stands above many Study Bibles, with its tremendous bevy of features, particularly the Book introductions and the Hebrew and Greek dictionaries of key words. I used this Bible exclusively last year on vacation for a week. It was terrific! If I were to offer one constructive comment it would be that I wish there were an A-Z dictionary listing of the Hebrew and Greek words in English, so one could look up the words quickly in English and then go to the meanings section. Bless you, Tyndale, for creating this awesome Study Bible. I love it!

I've owned this Bible since it was released. And, I'm so glad I purchased it! I think it was the original promo materials that accompanied it, or a store manager who shared with me that this Bible is like having a seasoned pastor sitting next to you helping you read and interpret God's Word. I still believe this today! A truly marvelous undertaking that stands heads above many other study Bibles. Very well written book introductions and all supportive materials are top notch! The Hebrew/Greek dictionary in the back is also a great addition! I recently purchased this Bible for a home school student I am teaching and she absolutely loves it! Thanks Tyndale! - Pastor Tom Vasiliow, Evangelical Friends Church Southwest

I am 69 years old. I have graduated from two bible colleges. I love God's word. I find that I am studying from the NLT more and more everyday. It is scholarly. It is easy to understand. And this makes God holy word come alive and relevant. I highly recommend this translation to everyone...newcomer and seasoned vet!

When I was a teen I read the Bible (KJV) through three times, Genesis to Revelations. Then I stopped, mostly because I got frustrated because no matter how hard I tried I couldn't really understand the Old Testament. Two decades later I've bought this study Bible and I'm really excited about it. The translation is very readable, but much care has been put into making it accurate. There's so much good information about the cultures and history surrounding each book. I already understand so much more than I've been able to before and I've only just begun. I expect to be working through the NLT Study Bible for several years and I'm excited to be doing so. I recommend it for anyone else who wants to understand the people who God revealed His Word to and what it meant to them, so as to better understand what it should mean to us.
