The initial reason I was drawn to this one was from getting to know and enjoying Crystal Bowman's work in the One Year Devotional for Preschoolers and her Bible Stories I Can Read series. All of thee above, I love! While as I have mentioned previously I love The Rhyme Storybook Bible for Toddlers and as a step up I loved also The Rhyme Storybook Bible (both Zondervan), now I am delighted to discover the My Read and Rhyme Bible Storybook (this one from Tyndale). This is awesome! In a way, it is another step up. The verses and rhymes are even longer, with a wonderful flow. Where the others end at being a rhyming storybook Bible, this one is so much more. Practically it is a preschool curriculum and reading course all on its own while also being a delightful rhyming storybook Bible. There are vocab words to challenge, then other reading words to recognize. Questions, activities and more. Absolutely brillant!
