Since the adoptions of three of her children, Carey Koenig has become a pro-life and adoption advocate, volunteer, and speaker at crisis pregnancy centers, Bethany Christian Services fundraising and training events, and women's church events in both North and South Carolina. She has also worked as a grant writer for the Pregnancy Center and Clinic of the Low Country in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Reid Koenig is 16 years old and in tenth grade. Adopted at birth, Reid is passionate about educating other children about adoption and how cool it is.

Halley Koenig is 15 years old and in ninth grade. She wants to use her personal experience of being adopted at birth to teach others about how God makes everyone special in different ways.
