Brenda Waggoner
Brenda Waggoner is a licensed professional counselor affiliated with Journeys Christian Counseling Center in Richardson, Texas. Her previously published works include The Velveteen Woman and Storybook Mentors. Brenda loves classic children's literature, and in her writing, she creatively weaves enduring themes from children's stories with biblical truth. Her writing encourages women to trust God both beyond and within the abrasions and abundance of ordinary life.Brenda and her husband, Frank, live in a hundred-year-old Victorian house in historic downtown McKinney, Texas. She loves music of all kinds and enjoys playing the flute with groups of casual musicians at neighborhood porch parties. She also love to take walks in their woodsy neighborhood with her husband and Molly, their chocolate Labrador retriever.
