Tidewater Sisters by Lisa Wingate is not an enjoyable book for me. I stopped reading it at the 39% mark because the main character was so weak, codependent, and characterized by poor judgment and negative self-talk. It is frustrating to read how someone ignores good advice from people who care about her, to get swept up in drama.
