The Editio Critica Maior documents the textual history of the Greek New Testament in the first millennium on the basis of the most important Greek manuscripts, ancient translations, and New Testament quotations in ancient Christian literature. The volumes on the Acts of the Apostles and the Catholic Epistles were published first, and the German Bible Society is now delighted to present the first volume on a synoptic gospel, the Gospel of Mark.
The Gospel of Mark, Editio Critica Maior Part 2.1: Text contains the Greek text of the Gospel of Mark, along with a clearly structured, extensive text-critical apparatus. There are two other companion volumes: The Gospel of Mark, Editio Critica Maior Part 2.2: Supplementary Material and The Gospel of Mark, Editio Critica Maior Part 2.3: Studies. All three volumes are also available for purchase as a set.
