Since he was a small boy, Mosab Hassan Yousef has had an inside view of the deadly terrorist group Hamas. The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas and its most popular leader, young Mosab assisted his father for years in his political activities while being groomed to assume his legacy, politics, status . . . and power. But everything changed when Mosab turned away from terror and violence, and embraced instead the teachings of another famous Middle East leader. In Son of Hamas, Mosab Yousef—now called “Joseph”—reveals new information about the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization and unveils the truth about his own role, his agonizing separation from family and homeland, the dangerous decision to make his newfound faith public, and his belief that the Christian mandate to “love your enemies” is the only way to peace in the Middle East.
I just wanted to thank you for your courage and faithfulness in standing up for the truth. You are a good example of this fact. I will pray for you, your people and especially your family. Almighty God is sovereign in our salvation, isn't He?
Will you be in the Los Angeles area for speaking or other engagements? I'd like it very much if you could sign my book!
Your Brother in Christ,
I'm about 2/3 of the way through this book and do recommend it! While some the stories are rather fantastic, and the first sixth of the book tells of the authors pain inflicted by the Israelis, It does seem to have the ring of truth! Most interesting is his embrace of the teaching of Jesus to love your enemies! 3/1/10
God bless you Mosab, for what you have done in writing this book. I just read it today and it is incredible. I am a student of Arabic, as well as the history and culture of Islam and the Middle East, and everything you say in this book makes perfect sense and seems like the missing puzzle piece for the question of Palestine that I've been searching for ever since I first started studying the MIddle East. Praise the Lord for protecting you in all these situations and giving you the strength to bear up under all those pressures and terrible situations. I will be praying for your safety in the future, and that God would use your book to make a difference in people's hearts and minds, in the US and all around the world.
I read in your March 11 interview for GQ magazine that there would eventually be an arabic version of your book available for download on arabic websites. I have some good Muslim friends who live in the Middle East who I would really like to read this book, and I would like to make it available to them if I can. Will there ever be a printed version in Arabic? How can I access the online Arabic version? Thank you so much for your help.

Mosab, book was a real "page turner," sat down around 2pm finished about 6 hours later. You have exemplified human honor, courage, and an inner strength that anyone would envy.
I hear this one is going to be amazing.
I just finished reading the book. Picked it up by chance at our local Christian bookstore on Sat. I started reading it on Monday evening and could not put it down till I finished yesterday. What an amazing story. Mosab Youseff has again given me hope for the Mideast. I am especially impressed with the obvious love that comes through for his family, his people and the whole Mideast. Based on the short article I just read in the Toronto Sun yesterday his hard times are not over and I want him to know that I will be praying for him. I hope that somehow this message can be conveyed to him. In Christian Love Steve
