I really enjoyed this book. I loved getting to know the characters and trying to figure out their struggles. I enjoyed the suspense in this story also. A terrific book!

A great Christian romance story. Mona has worked so hard to achieve her lifelong dream of opening a bookstore in a small quiet town of Deep Haven. As she pursues her dream she struggles with her own issues of forgiveness and trust. Handyman Joe comes along and wants to be her hero, help her get her bookstore up and running. She doesn't think she needs his help, but as problems keep rising up she realizes that he truly is helping her and that she has feelings for him. Joe struggles with his own identity problems. He is running from his past and is holding resentment against both his father and his brother who was born with Down's Syndrome. As he helps Mona, he learns what it is like to have a place to call "home." It's a story about forgiveness, trust, God, faith, family, dreams, and love. Well written and a fun read.
