Tyndale House to Publish Debut Novel from Beth Moore

New York Times bestselling author, Bible teacher to release The Undoing of Saint Silvanus on September 20

CAROL STREAM, Ill. (March 1, 2016)—Beth Moore, bestselling author and beloved Bible teacher, has written her debut novel, The Undoing of Saint Silvanus, scheduled for release from Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., (@TyndaleHouse) on September 20, 2016.

“The opportunity to watch from the wings as Beth worked on this novel has been a rare privilege,” said Karen Watson, Tyndale House associate publisher of fiction. “The Undoing of Saint Silvanus is the work of a gifted storyteller. It is full of heart and humor and hope. Tyndale is honored to partner with Beth to shepherd this story to her existing fans and introduce her to a whole new audience of readers.”

Set in New Orleans, Moore’s eagerly awaited first novel captures the lives of a wily house manager and the cast of saints and sinners who live in Saint Silvanus and bond together to expose the dark forces that took the life of a father and threaten to drive a final wedge between the mother and daughter left in the wake of his death.

Novelist Beth Moore (@BethMooreLPM) is a dynamic teacher whose videotaped Bible studies and conferences have taken her across the globe and reached millions. A wife, mother, and grandmother, Moore lives in Houston, where she leads Living Proof Ministries with the purpose of encouraging and reaching women to know and love Jesus through the study of Scripture. Her first book with Tyndale, So Long, Insecurity, reached the New York Times Best Sellers List with over one million copies of the book and associated products in print since 2010.

Moore announced the upcoming release of her first novel on her blog earlier this week: http://blog.lproof.org/2016/02/the-undoing-of-saint-silvanus-a-novel.html.

“Even as a child,” Moore comments, “I loved crawling into a corner from time to time and scribbling something creative. This was my chance to just go with it. To start weaving a story and see where it would take me.”
