Richard Kriegbaum

Dr. Richard Kriegbaum is a speaker, consultant, author, and practitioner of collaborative leadership and followership and nonprofit governance.

Kriegbaum was twice president of Fresno Pacific University, a Christian university in central California. Prior to his tenures at Fresno Pacific, he was a faculty member, coach, and administrator at Wheaton College (Illinois), and a teacher and coach at Grace College (Indiana). Between his two leadership assignments at Fresno Pacific, he was for eight years president of United Way of Fresno County, a comprehensive community building organization.

He has served on a variety of governing boards, including the Grace College, Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, NAIA, Scripture Press, One by One Leadership, St. Agnes Medical Center, the California Alliance of Information and Referral Services, LeadHer, and CORAL, an afterschool program for at risk children.

Kriegbaum completed a PhD in higher education from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a master's degree in Spanish from Ball State University, and a bachelor's degree with high honors from Wheaton College.

He and his wife Peggi enjoy three married children, a growing number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and lots of love, music, laughter, and prayer, with one shared faith in Christ and one blessed hope.
