Pete Greig

Pete Greig is an award-winning author, pastor, and one of the bewildered instigators of the 24-7 Prayer movement which has reached more than half the nations on earth. He serves as the Team Leader at Emmaus Rd in Guildford, as a Vice-President for the NGO Tearfund and as an Associate Tutor at St Mellitus Theological College in London. In 2005 he took the vows of The Order of the Mustard Seed and continues to live by its Rule.

Pete co-hosts two annual festivals: Wildfires and The Big Church Day Out, the UK's largest Christian gathering, drawing more than 35,000 people.

For eight years Pete served on the senior leadership team of Alpha international and HTB, a large Anglican church in London, although he himself is ordained in the Free Church tradition. His publications include Red Moon Rising, God on Mute, The Prayer Course online video series, Dirty Glory, and How to Pray.Married to Sammy and proud dad to two sons, he loves art galleries, Portsmouth FC, and pooling around in his 1964 Morris Minor convertible.
