Elizabeth Santelmann has been studying the Bible for thirty years. Throughout her childhood, her family encouraged the memorization of large passages of Scripture. As an adult, she attended Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) and local Bible studies based on books by Jen Wilkin and Nancy Guthrie, and she also audited seminary classes while nursing her babies.

Elizabeth was trained as a children's Bible teacher and worked for three years in children's ministry before having her own kids. She spent seven years writing and sharing on her Instagram and blog before launching her popular podcast Sunshine in My Nest.
