Clarissa Moll is an award-winning writer and podcaster who helps bereaved people find flourishing after loss. Clarissa's writing appears in Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, RELEVANT, Modern Loss, Grief Digest, and more. She cohosts Christianity Today's Surprised by Grief podcast and hosts The Writerly Life, the weekly hope*writers podcast. She holds a master's degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is a frequent guest on podcasts and radio shows. Clarissa Moll is an award-winning writer and podcaster who helps bereaved people find flourishing after loss. Before the tragic death of her husband, Rob, in 2019, Clarissa worked in education and nonprofit communications in organizations across the denominational spectrum. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Cedarville University and a master's degree in church history and systematic theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Clarissa has taught on the adjunct faculties at Cedarville and Wheaton College. She also holds a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Texas at Austin. Clarissa's writing has appeared in Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, RELEVANT, Modern Loss, Grief Digest, and more. She penned the afterword for her husband's book, The Art of Dying (IVP), and her writing on forgiveness appeared in Along the Way: Real Moments Touched by God (Meredith Books), an anthology of inspirational writing for young adults. In 2020, Clarissa received an award from the Evangelical Press Association for her writing at The Gospel Coalition. Clarissa cohosts Christianity Today's Surprised by Grief podcast and hosts The Writerly Life podcast produced by hope*writers, an online membership community that equips writers for the publishing journey. Clarissa is a frequent guest on podcasts and radio shows, where listeners appreciate her refreshing honesty about grief and her commitment to hope in the midst of sorrow.
