We have tried to help him but he finds himself back into drugs. We know only God can save him. Please help pray for Elliot .

I’m truly amazed at how many diehard King James only folks reject all other translations and impose their version on others as if Paul wrote his letters in it. There are pluses and minuses in all of the English translations, but none of them are any good if you can’t understand them. The NLT does a good job as a thought translation whereas many others go word by word, which is important for deeper study. Of course, if you can go back to the Greek for the NT, it only gets better. Glad you found the NLT in time!
