Tyndale House Publishers and Tyndale House Foundation continue to support international Christian publishing efforts around the world—a legacy handed down by Dr. Ken Taylor, our founder. One of the many ways we do this is through the support of Media Associates International (MAI). MAI’s purpose is to equip and encourage writers, editors, and all people involved in Christian publishing around the world.
Founded in 1985, MAI provides support through on-site consultations, regional workshops, and through a global conference (LittWorld) held every three years. LittWorld 2018 was held in Singapore and hosted 250 people from 52 countries for a week of inspiration, encouragement, and training in different areas of publishing. Tyndale House Publishers sent six staff members to support the conference through one-on-one consultations, leading workshops,emceeing the main events, and providing administrative support for the attendees.
LittWorld 2018 provided the opportunity to renew friendships with old friends and establish new contacts with enthusiastic and energic people who have a desire to serve the Lord through publishing. Through these relationships, Tyndale House Foundation can identify needs in international Christian publishing and provide support for essential and immerging ministries.
