  1. What is your favorite literary romance, and what makes it your favorite?
My all time favorite romance is Gone With the Wind. It’s a read over and over again and then watch the movie.
  2. Which romance did you most enjoy writing, and why?
I enjoyed writing Deadlock. Bethany and Thatcher differed from culture to personal tastes. As FBI special agents forced to work together, they often clashed. But their differences brought them together, and surprises in their relationship sealed their commitment.
  3. What is your favorite Valentine’s memory, or what is the most romantic thing anyone ever did for you?
My favorite Valentine memory is one I did for my husband. We’d been married about two years, and he was always surprising me. I was determined to wow him that Valentine’s Day. I hired a young couple, dressed in a tux and gown, to come to our door and sing for him – “Won’t you be my Teddy Bear” and “Love me Tender.” They were Elvis fans. They gave him a box of candy, and I saw a little tear. So special.
