George Taweel

George Taweel is an entertainment veteran with over 38 years of experience in the film, television, DVD, music, radio, live event, and new media businesses. As a producer, director, and writer, he has collected over 125 creative awards, including an Emmy; garnered over 70 gold/platinum video certifications; produced projects which have spawned over 100 licensed products; and entertained millions in live venues. His programs are broadcast in more than 80 countries worldwide. Taweel is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), Writers Guild of America (WGA), Directors Guild of America (DGA), Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS), American Bar Association (associate member of Entertainment ADR section), BMI, ASCAP, and NATPE. George is also founder of the 3-D motion picture company St. George Entertainment and George Taweel Productions (TV, DVD, and live event production), cofounder of TLC Entertainment (kids and faith-based properties) and, and past president of the Annapolis Parents Club of Southern California. He also holds a black belt in tae kwon do, a music education degree, and a master's degree in theology. George is an ordained Eastern Orthodox priest; founding and official Santa of Studio City, California; and former shotgun second assistant in the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra's performance of the 1812 Overture.
