Dave Jackson

As a husband/wife writing team, Dave and Neta Jackson are enthusiastic about books, kids, walking with God, gospel music . . . and each other! In 18 years as full-time writers, they have authored or coauthored over 100 books (they lost count!). But they are most well-known for the Trailblazer Books, 40 historical fiction novels about great Christian heroes for ages 8–12—with 1.5 million in sales—and Hero Tales: A Family Treasury of True Stories from the Lives of Christian Heroes, Vols. 1–4.

Neta's latest novels include The Yada Yada Prayer Group and The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Down.

With The Complete Book of Christian Heroes, the Jacksons return to their passion for telling stories of Christian "overcomers," bringing glory to God and encouragement to readers with over 200 stories of courageous martyrs.

In addition to writing books about Christian community in the '70s and '80s, the Jacksons coauthored books with expert resource people on a variety of topics from racial reconciliation to marriage and family to medical ethics to ministry to kids in gangs.

Dave and Neta live in Evanston, Illinois, where for 27 years they were active members of Reba Place Church, a Christian community. Now they attend The Worship Center where they enjoy the richness of a multiracial congregation, praising God with full hearts.

They are the recipients of many writing awards, including The Angel Award of Merit; the C.S. Lewis Award, Best Series; the Gold Medallion Award; and many more.
