I’m a Texan by birth, but have lived in Tucson, Arizona for over twenty-five years. My husband, Jack, and I have been married for forty-five years and we are currently on staff with The Navigators, a lay Christian ministry. We have eight precious grandchildren thanks to our four special children.
Jack practiced veterinary medicine for sixteen years, so our home was full of numerous dogs and cats, Pedro the parakeet, Velvet the skunk, Ralph the ferret, and Toby an eight foot boa constrictor. (This last pet lasted only a few months.)
I majored in English in college, taught in high school for one year, and then began a self-taught "master’s" degree in child development, cooking, cleaning, and carpooling. It wasn’t until I was in my late forties that I began to write. Over the past twenty years I have written mostly bible studies and devotionals. My most recent book Maybe God is Right After All is a compilation of ten truths I have discovered on my journey of some forty years with the Lord
I feel that my ministry is being an older woman in the body of Christ—age wise I certainly qualify and hopefully through the years of walking with God I have learned some foundational truths that can keep us growing, close to the Lord, and on His true and right paths. Above all I have learned that God is right after all!
It is a privilege for me to be a small of part of your life as you seek to grow in His grace and knowledge.
