New employees are immediately eligible for the nine paid holidays that Tyndale House observes: New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Insurance through Tyndale House is available to all full-time, regular employees who have completed 30 days of employment. Tyndale House offers a self-funded medical, dental, vision, and prescription plan. Employees have the choice of using approved PPO network providers or out-of-network providers to cover their needs.
Tyndale House offers a 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan which enables employees to save for retirement through company contributions as well as through payroll contributions. Employees may choose to invest in any of twenty funds offered by American Funds. Employees are eligible for this benefit after having completed six months of employment. After completing 90 days of employment, regular, full-time employees are eligible for short- and long-term disability at no cost to the employee. These programs are designed to provide salary continuance for employees who are absent due to an extended sickness or injury.
Employees who are enrolled in Tyndale's Group Health Plan for at least nine months, have completed one year of service, and who work at least 30 hours per week will be eligible to apply for the adoption benefit. Tyndale will reimburse employees up to $5,000 for costs associated with an adoption.
Each employee receives one free copy of most new books published by Tyndale House and can purchase additional copies of existing titles at a 50% discount for either personal use or to be given as a gift.
